“ My FAVORITE restaurant in Palm Springs! I absolutely love the Ruben Special! I love that they provide Parmesan cheese on the side to add on top. I gobbled it up. It has a ton of different seafood in it that is just delectable. Great customer service! Will be back very soon! ”
“ We came with another couple and we all enjoyed our food. We had the recommended grilled fish taco, grilled shrimp taco & crab enchiladas with a side of broccoli. The enchiladas were packed with crab. ”
“ Just got back from a trip to Palm springs, and the place is just as delicious as I remembered. We actually went there twice this weekend to indulge! We shared the stuffed crab artichoke, my nephew had the seafood kabob ( he was in heaven. And a ceaser salad w some cocktails one day 1.and got to try some of the fried artichokes so Goood. Worth the splurge of calories for sure! day two we brought the whole family along. Of course paired w cocktails again ( and at closing time- we still were served w a smile And delicious food! Crab enchiladas for to die for. My sister got the fish tacos I believe and the kids got pastas ( chicken Alfredo, ceaser salad and Cajun pastas) there was something for everyone. Lots of locals come which you know is good if they go! I'm already said I'm 8 hours away. Until next time, if you're in the area stop by and say hi and try some delicious food! ”
“ So..... we were visiting and hunting and hunting for a seafood place. We had a hankering for oysters and the like and were unsure. We have visited before and have walked by this place - probably 100 times and had not noticed. Well. Let me tell you something. The quality of this food is absolutely top notch. They get fresh seafood delivered DAILY and it shows. The owner operator actually is in the back being the chef- making sure everything is cooked to perfection. As you may have noticed I'm not a very generous reviewer unless I feel it's earned and well deserved. I am almost hesitant to share this place as it's the favorite of the locals and the vibe is uber laid back and chill. Even the wait staff are awesome. We ordered 2 orders of oysters on the half shell. Surprise surprises there is fresh grated horseradish- if you know you know. We had an order of fried shrimp. Lawdhavemercy- it was done perfect. Shrimp were perfectly done. The breading was great. . And the seasoning made it pare perfectly with the cocktail sauce Now those oysters.... . I rarely eat half shells because I'm - picky. These were top notch, they were super fresh and absolutely lovely. I'm kinda sad I don't live there because I could just eat these all of the time. Here are some secrets. Do NOT share. Their clamshowda' is fresh made and you can enjoy its fresh savory aroma while you enter. They also have a rare and limited homemade lobster bisque- ONLY ON FRIDAY. They have the most lovely outdoor seating..... The bar makes excellent drinks.... The pour is absolutely not stingy. We even had the rare opportunity to meet the owner/chef and just those few moments underscored just how special this place is. It's a secret, quiet, chill hole in the wall place that is deserving its customers to be the same. If you demand the fancy fru fru seafood with attitude and bland seafood- this is not the place for you. If however you are a discerning connoisseur of seafood- THIS is the place for you. I have not ever had a full 100% exceptional service and seafood place and I've eaten up and down the west coast. Love this place and you will too! ”
“ Absolutely yummylicious food and great friendly service! It is located in the downtown central area of Palm Springs. Walking distance from several hotels and near the heart of the nightlife. The restaurant is smaller on the inside, but they have patio seating outside with misters to combat the Palm Springs SCORCH! The ambience gives you a Baja feel all the way around. The colors are themed in deep sea blue and metallic colors. The bar is spacious and very well stocked unless you want Midori. You can sit at the booth or the small tables around the inside of the restaurant. The decor, of course again, gives you the sea worthiness of Baja. Our service professional was Myra. She has one of the best personalities! She was so friendly and helpful! She even appreciated us being dorks! Now that in itself proves that she has amazing patience! We got there around 5:00 p.m. because we had a show to catch at a nearby hotel. I would definitely suggest to get there early because it filled up rather quickly. We ordered the following: Oysters on a half shell which were very fresh and definitely did not have that fishy icky taste! I would like to suggest for them to maybe scrub the shell a little bit more because there were a lot of tidbits as I was biting into the oysters. My husband ordered the clam chowder which I was not allowed to have after he tasted it. We made the mistake at another restaurant and ordered a humongous bowl of the clam chowder and it seriously tasted like evaporated milk. This was a total opposite! My husband is a finicky person when it comes to his clam chowder. He devoured it and claimed it was one of the best ones that he had. Unfortunately, I can't attest to this because I wasn't allowed to have any. I also ordered the seafood pasta special which basically was linguine, a whole bunch of seafood and a white wine garlic lemon sauce. Mind you, I am actually really picky about my seafood pasta and I would definitely rate this five stars. It came out piping hot! The noodles were cooked perfectly and actually had the flavor of the sauce in them. The sauce was well balanced and you can taste everything from the garlic to the wine to the lemon! The best part about this is that there were an abundance of shrimp, clams, muscles and bits of crab. My husband ordered a seafood pasta as well. His was in a tangy Sweet red sauce served with manicotti noodles. Just like my dish it was packed with seafood and the sauce was amazing. It went so perfectly with the garlic bread that was given to us! The adult soda that was ordered was a Blue lemon drop. Definitely not watered down and had a great sweet yet deep flavor to it. Definitely will be back whenever we are back in Palm Springs just to see Lola and be blessed by her amazing service. Oh yeah! The yummilicious food is also another factor Make sure to order the clam chowder! OMG!!! ”
